Job Requirements
Education: High School Diploma.
Experience: At least 3 months in a similar role.
Skills:
- Pay close attention to details.
- Solve problems effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate well.
- Stand for long periods, lift to 25 pounds, and do manual tasks.
- Be aware of safety and sorting tasks regularly.
Pre-Hiring Requirements:
Agree to a background check.
Have a clean driver’s record.
Complete online Armatus Abuse Training and necessary Health and Safety training.
Responsibilities
- Follow The Salvation Army’s core values and mission in all tasks and interactions.
- Work well with the team and on your own.
- Create a positive and supportive atmosphere for staff and customers.
- Process recycling and garbage as needed.
- Meet daily goals by counting, weighing, and recording donations.
- Keep the warehouse and property clean and safe.
- Sort and price items to control inventory.
- Provide great customer service, including help with sales and donations.
- Watch for and prevent inventory loss.
- Complete customer transactions accurately.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
