Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: At least 2 years of work in a manufacturing environment, dealing with manufacturing equipment, and large facility power systems.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of industrial networking protocols.
Ability to design control logic and solve hardware and software issues. - Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing role.
Responsibilities
- Design and set up electrical systems for new manufacturing machines.
- Create control systems for new production machines and support electrical needs in the facility.
- Make sure all designs follow safety rules, using scanners, switches, and other safety tools.
- Offer help with controls and fix issues with both hardware and software systems.
- Manage and record any changes in hardware and software according to guidelines.
- Lead and assist project teams with machine installation, ensuring they meet electrical standards.
- Look at machine data, find software problems, and fix them.
- Plan and carry out projects to upgrade older equipment.
- Keep control system software safe, back it up, and make training materials for new features.
- Share project updates with the team and management every week.
