Position: Wood Worker
Location: Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, ME
Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.23 – $32.92 per hour
Shift and Schedule: Monday to Friday, 0630-1500
Job Responsibilities
- Packing items into containers.
- Creating storage solutions from various materials.
- Ensuring safe and secure packaging for different types of products.
- Handling special equipment and materials with care.
- Completing required training and maintaining necessary certifications.
Qualifications
Experience: Ability to handle tasks like planning, building, and repairing containers with minimal supervision.
Physical Demand: Able to lift 45 pounds and perform prolonged labor in a variety of positions.
Working Conditions: Capable of working in both indoor and outdoor environments, with noise and other elements of the environment being exposed.
Additional prerequisites: Pre-employment physical and background check requirements must be met.
